I think that's exactly how it was designed. Apple's model seems to be to get something out on the market that fundamentally changes the interface and creates buzz; which, of course, creates a supply chain, delivery outlet, and potential customers. The buzz and the if-only gives them leverage with suppliers which is especially important in this case being they have to work with wireless providers (but let's not forget that Apple looked very seriously into *creating their own network*!) Once that's all in place, Apple can then follow it up by creating niche devices for segments that are ready to buy if-only. Look at the iPod and iTunes (like wireless providers!) Originally the iPod had no photos, no video, no color and was big. I don't think the iPhone is built to take-off. It's just the runway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion 8 beta â Build next generation applications today.
