That "root" password has no rights. None. Can't get into the system
with it at all.

So, the question is either "how long is it going to take to _actually_
crack a password that does something", or "why was this password, with
no rights, left in there."

Not a "fanboy" as the Inquirer article so disdainfully reports, but
worth looking a little deeper into the "sensational". Of course, with
any paper called the "Inquirer", you pretty much know how much
research they do on a typical story.
