Fighting is some of it. Not the worst, tho, which also is enlightening. Eh. Wouldn't trade it for the world, but now that I'm procreating... well, it's a different perspective, sorta. Is the school of hard knocks really the optimal character builder, and etc.. Do you need to experience racism and whatnot to appreciate it? Get thrown in with a 1000+ or so other kids, to grok social-isms? And on and on. Does Campbell have a point about men needing walk-abouts, so to speak? Of course, why would men need it and not women? Eh, guess that one isn't fresh in my mind. Bah. I'm not sure... how much bad, is good? LOL... and I'm out.
