Year Round Schools. Personally, I love it. She goes 9 weeks on, 3 weeks off. There are 4 tracks of kids, but only 3 are in school at any given time. It increases the capacity of the school. If the school normally held 750 children, under the year round schedule, it actually has the capacity to hold 1000 kids, because only 750 are in school at any given time.
Emily's track gets 3 weeks off in September, December, March, and June... plus a week for July 4, THanksgiving, and Christmas. It means I can take vacations when 98% of the rest of the country is in school.
