I worked at a racetrack for a couple summers and it sure gave me a real 
appreciation for the people that spend their whole lives doing it. It's just a 
different world and work mindset than most of us have. But yes, it was probably 
also the only time in my life I got to experience sunrises. ;-) 

I'm a terrible insomniac and even at 40 still don't get more than maybe 6 hours 
of sleep a night. Doesn't seem to bother me for the most part, but then 
caffeine is also a good friend for those times when I started getting *really* 
behind on sleep.
