Goodell has established that the NFL does not need to wait for the legal system to run its' course before he can enact punishment within the league. I think he needs to have a conversation with Vick to get his side of it, and if he does not come away from that meeting satisfied that Vick at least has a plausible story of innocence, he should suspend him indefinitely.
