Well I got a Subpoena (US District Court) LOL Knew it was coming. Good thing I refused to talk to the PI once I saw the subpoena it was a narrow scope from 12/05 to Present only. Haven't done much for him in that span but hassle him to pay his Dedicated Server bill. I printed out all the invoices and I dont keep much email anyway.
Apparently this is under Fed Rules so I dont get reimbursement of Work Time for this Deposition. Where it is a Fed Civil Trial they are allowed to do all the research and discovery before actually filing. The Subpoena isnt signed buy the court just the Attorney for my customers competition. Weird part is the Suit is against this Guys Ex-GF but they are asking me for my customers info.
