The job market is very tight right now. Exactly how tight varies by region,
and a lot of the job spamming I am seeing comes from companies or recruiters
looking to bring people to locations where either the market is extremely
tight or the talent pool is very shallow. The downside is that those jobs
tend to be full time on-site gigs, and that knocks a chunk of the talent
pool out from any search. I know plenty of people that would consider
telecommuting jobs, but fewer employers who allow it (though the numbers
seem to be increasing lately).
