>Well then - I hate to break it to you - but you like Windows. ;^) Nope, not going there. If Apple offered a comparable tablet and I could afford to switch all my devices (which is a heck of a big IF) I'd probably drop Windoze in a heartbeat. >You can like something and still hate aspects of it.
Of course...and the aspect I don't like is the Windows OS. >Macs aren't a panacea - but they're definitely better for some people. Some >people like variety and have a bit of everything. Others like consistency >and stick with what works for them for decades. And of course, monetary issues do come into it. Not even counting software I'd have to repurchase, the same configuration I got from Dell would have been $1K more with a Mac. The difference is not huge for consumer use...but once you get into this bigger beefed up systems, it can be substantial. >(See - I can be nice - even when you gloat about how nice your PPC synchs >when mine sits and sad and lonely because my dumbass office moved us all to >Lotus Notes!) ;^) Well, my PPC is no panacea either. Every time it dies on me and I have to restore data it usually screws up and duplicates most of my calendar items. And I have never gotten it to work reliably with my wifi at home. I found Palms to be much more reliable and easy to use in general. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion 8 - Build next generation apps today, with easy PDF and Ajax features - download now http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/coldfusion/cf8_beta_whatsnew_052907.pdf Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:239763 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
