Right on, Howie BTW actually had the privilege of seeing Jimi perform it live at Fillmore in San Francisco in June 67 (SF Summer of Love).
Talk about value - Jimi Hendrix, Gabor Szabo, Jefferson Airplane on one bill, 2 sets each, $4.50 admission as I recall. (for those too young to remember the unique psychedelic art Fillmore Posters, check this out: http://www.rockmine.music.co.uk/Archive/Gallery/Fillmore.html then select 1967 and 20-25 June 1967. Plus free apples (the fruit, not the computer <g>). <sigh> -Ben > -----Original Message----- > From: Howie Hamlin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2002 8:49 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: We Were Soldiers > > > Actually, the Hendrix version is *the* version of that song... > > But, thanks for playing... > > Howie > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mike Townend" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2002 11:47 AM > Subject: RE: We Were Soldiers > > > > But sang best by U2 :) > > > > ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
