Calling me a communist is funny, but please never associate me with the worst PM the UK has ever had ;)
I just looked up the definition of Liberal in google - I was interested to see if it had a different accepted meaning in the USA compared to the UK, the first part of the definition was: broad: showing or characterized by broad-mindedness; "a broad political stance"; "generous and broad sympathies"; "a liberal newspaper"; "tolerant of his opponent's opinions" having political or social views favoring reform and progress tolerant of change; not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or tradition a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties That seems pretty spot on to my understanding of the term, is this the common perception of it's meaning in the US?
