I read somewhere, that the best time to exercise is in the evening. Not the
morning. You are giving up too much sleep by doing it first thing in the
morning, and that will set you for failure down the road when you hit that
snooze bar one too many times. I try to hit the gym between the hours of
4-7pm. It's a good part of the day. And if the family doesnt like it, tell
them TOO BAD, because your health is important if that family wants you
around a long time. ;)

I also highly recommend about 15-20 minutes of stretching before bed. Just
nice quiet stretching.
