The next step up for processor is around $1000.  I'm open to suggestions
on the graphics card.  I just picked it out of the different brands
available based on mid-range price.  I eventually want to go SLI, so
I'll eventually get two.

The returns on overclocking memory are small.
The risks regarding cooling and system stability are high.

The 800Mhz memory should be just fine.

You will get a much larger performance boost with Processor and Graphics
Cards.
What processor and card are you considering?
