Well, they even talked about it being a "police sting" where they deliberately set up provocative situations to try to catch potential gay sex participants and then arrest anyone they suspect... I think it's vile. If it wasn't a cop in the stall, someone would have just either told him to quit or would've come on to him all consensual. No harm, no foul in either case really. But cops go into gay-friendly scenarios and try to get guys to hit on them so they can arrest them. I'm from England where the "gay sting" is pretty common in some parts of the country. The real problem with this case is that the (Republican - it's always a Republican isn't it?) Senator has now gone on record as saying "I'm not gay" when it's pretty clear that he was *probably* cottaging (soliciting for gay sex in toilets) and he did, for whatever reason, plead guilty to essentially that... If America ever develops a healthy attitude to homosexuality, this sort of thing would be a big ol' non-event... *sigh* -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ "If you're not annoying somebody, you're not really alive." -- Margaret Atwood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get the answers you are looking for on the ColdFusion Labs Forum direct from active programmers and developers. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid-72&catid=648 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:241523 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
