Because we've been baited and switched and screwed over one too many times
by Bank of America. I want to be a drag on their bottom line, I want to cost
them some money.

We've provided branded credit cards before but not actually managed them.
I'm not sure what the actual cost-per-customer is (and honestly even if I
knew I'd probably be unable to tell you) but in this situation you're paying
for the credit company (an MBNA or somebody) to manage customer relations
(billing, support, etc), fraud insurance, credit checks, etc. I doubt a
true number per customer could really be determined since the agreements are
all for thousands/millions of customers but dividing the aggregate I would
guess it's a rather small amount.

Credit card companies live off interest so clearly somebody that doesn't
maintain a balance and doesn't get charged fees is a drag on their bottom
line.

Just out of curiosity why do you ask?
