The $4 prescription plan only covers certain drugs which are available as
generics and then only in certain common doses. For example one of my
prescriptions IS on the list but at 5mg. Not the 10 and/or 12 mg dose I
take. So I would actually need to buy twice as many a little more often to
make it work, which costs $8 every 25 days or so. At Walgreen's however the
same prescription is $27. I dislike buying things at WalMart but I have
researched this. On the third hand another prescription is $160 at WalMart
and over 200 at Walgreens, and not available in generic. So tis last round,
yes, I did swallow hard and fill everything at WalMart.

Bottom line -- the program may be helpful, depending on what you are taking.
The pharmacist will have a list of the drugs that are included in the
program. My best advice is actually to consider a road trip if you take
numerous expensive non-generics.
