Ever see the holes on the bottom of your laptop. that's for air... When it's
sitting on your lap, you end up blocking the holes and the laptop heats up.
Try placing your laptop on a tray, then using it on your lap. While it's
going to feel cooler to yourselft because of the tray, take your laptop off
the tray after a while and see how much cooler it is as well.
