It wasn't stupidity, it was disdain, or disregard, perhaps. Which /was/ stupidity, actually. As I've said, Dick and Rummy (at least) /knew/ better- Bush did SOP- "I'm doing what *I* want, and screw everybody and everything that stands in the way." (the "I" being lots of people :() Almost dastardly, considering what the country had been through, but, well, there's tons of dastard-type examples. We needed unity, which Bosh (or perhaps those buffoons) simply didn't know how to provide- or didn't want to, more accurately. And why bother? It's not like the American Populace were smart enough to see what exactly was going down- With help, of course. ( I've never seen more spinning, and more people eating it up. !) Course, some people are raised to not see a problem with the "I deserve it" and "it's *mine*" attitudes- Not Gore, but, hell. ( And it's gotten worse? You don't say! </sarcasm> =] ) This administration (and those powering it?) are petty and vindictive, basically everything you DON'T want in management. *sigh* It's just more of the same type of "thinking"- Spend more money, but cut taxes- ( Yeah, that makes a cubic sheet-ton of sense. !)
