Yeah - the first outbreak was really bad and it closely followed my wife switching from the good cold cuts to the "more healthy" turkey-based kind. Turns out that's all made from turkey livers. That's what we thought it was at the time and it went away. This time it's not nearly as bad but my diet's actually been pretty good so it's worrisome. Also my ureic acid levels are normal (happens in a lot of cases apparently) so maintenance medication isn't a useful option (although we might still try it). Right now the best bet is that with the new job I'm sitting more and, with my weight, I'm reducing circulation to my feet. The little cold-snap we just had might have helped as well. I'm more worried because a) this does run in my family and b) so do kidney stones. I don't want no kidney stones!
