I was trying to update some of my sites away from using the IE7
javascript library (the one that makes IE6 act more like IE7) because
of the random crashing that it would do to browsers. Unfortunately, a
lot of my users are still IE6 so position:fixed doesn't work.

I started playing around with a javascript layout manager which was
really, really nice, but of course, it required javascript and I could
never get it to print out that great. In the comments of the blog
entry about the javascript layout manager was a link to a css
template. I checked it out and found exactly what I was looking for.
Just wanted to pass it along.

Don't get me wrong, my site doesn't have that many panels, just a
header, a left column nav area, a content area, and a footer. But it
works great........except in Safari :)
