"I can't imagine having the Span set up, I think it would drive me crazy."
Assuming you have the dual set up where you can easily drag windows back and forth between the two monitors, there is only a subtle difference between span and dual. With span you have one contiguous desk top so you would only have one background image, I currently have two. Also The task bar can span across both monitors if one desires. I find this nice since with the extra monitor real estate, I tend to have even more windows and applications open. This apparently also helps some types of software that have trouble working on a secondary monitor. From their point of view there is only one monitor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion is delivering applications solutions at at top companies around the world in government.
