Well, I don't buy the claims of GW as a "cause" for specific, isolated
weather events. I mean, if GW is really a global affecter of weather
patterns....then GW is as much a cause of -50 degree cold in Siberia as it
is 100 degree temps in California. It causes droughts, but it must also
cause thunderstorms, or erratic wind shifts.....what about beautiful, sunny
days with temperatures that are exactly normal for the year? We get dozens
of those here in KC in the fall....are those "perfect" days caused by Global
Warming as well?

I don't doubt GW, and I don't doubt that it has long term affects on the
OVERALL weather phenomena on earth. I just don't think anyone can speak
authoritatively on an isolated weather event and declare "This is Global
Warming".
