hehe... i think i have a bigger balls story. in redlands, there is a self-service frozen yogurt place. kind of a cool concept. you walk in, pick the appropriately-sized plastic cup, fill it with one of several flavors of frozen yogurt, help yourself to toppings... that's all well and good. when you're done, you bring it up front by the register and place it on a scale, where the attendant/cashier reads the scale and takes your money. the cashier has a tip jar. tip jars in general piss me off. If you're working behind the counter of a deli or a pizza joint type place, i assume you're not making the same minimum wage as a waiter or waitress (a -real- tipped employee). but at least these people do a little something that could potentially justify the tip jar. they're making you your food or bringing your food to the counter for you (yes, it's a stretch, i know... call it benefit of the doubt, for lack of a better term). but this person... this person sits on his/her butt reading a book while you prepare your own food. the extent of their job is to read the scale and take your money (and provide the correct change). what could possibly be going thru their mind that they think it's justifiable to put out a tip jar? -- Charlie Griefer ================================================ "...All the world shall be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you.
