Well we did not end up fighting fires after all. Instead our units provided extra security to evacuated neighborhoods and helped to enforce road closures. Unfortunately for me, since I work in the Operations Center, I was stuck in Escondido for the last couple of weeks helping run the show. It has been an interesting two weeks. Many local merchants comped us a lot of stuff including Target, Starbucks and McDonald's. We were provided food catered in for the last couple of weeks. I think we all gained a little weight over the last couple of weeks. But overall the mission has been very good and well received. We are hoping to come home in a couple of days as all of our units and attached units are finished with their missions. I did take some pictures that I will load up to Photo Bucket with comments when I get back. -- Bruce Sorge ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Enterprise web applications, build robust, secure scalable apps today - Try it now ColdFusion Today ColdFusion 8 beta - Build next generation apps Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:245673 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
