There was an issue of G.I.Joe where they needed a nuke to bust a bunker. The
location was environmentally sensitive so they could not use one. All they
did was use a lot of conventional bombs to get the same effect. Probably the
same thing here. And that's besides the point that the Syrians have been
seen 'cleaning up' the area.
As for who 'did it', there's still no official word on what happened and who
did it. What we're reading looks like the parties involved are saying
something but they're both still dancing. Syria isn't giving a solid story.
Israel isn't claiming anything (other than unofficial leaks). It's a game.
The real player to watch is the UN who's various agencies are rushing to NOT
investigate this nor blame anyone (other than Israel).
It's shadow boxing as usual.
