That's cool, I'm not trying to dis them entirely but depending on how much you ride, 2 to 3 years of that will make you upgrade. You might actually like the feeling of being truly locked in, step-ins are unique in that respect but, you loose a lot of feel in how the snowboard is connected with the snow and your soul. The base of the boot is way to rigid to allow you the ability to feel the terrain in a natural way. There are additional things which I like about flows vs the standard strap binding and which compare to a step-in.. Over and above all things, the power strap that surrounds the entire top of your foot is the best. It's the most comfortable binding I've ever used. There are 3 things I look at with snowboard gear. 1: Performance 2: Comfort 3: Sexiness Flow bindings have all three... Womens: http://usa.flow.com/bindings/women/prima.html Mens: http://usa.flow.com/bindings/men/team.html I've been riding for so long, I don't have tennis elbow, I have snowboarders foot... It's like a constant feeling that there was, or is, a strap on your front foot. the one that ends up being strapped in 90% of the day as you swing from lift to lift. The binding straps end up leaving their mark for life. Flows as with Step-In bindings do not cause this type of abuse on your body, i just feel like I have more control without step-ins. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Check out the new features and enhancements in the latest product release - download the "What's New PDF" now http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/coldfusion/cf8_beta_whatsnew_052907.pdf Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:246230 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
