We're starting in on the holiday present discussion thing around these parts and one of hte ideas that has come up for my wife is something in the video camera realm. She isn't a technology nerd but she doesn't particularly fear it either. She never thought she'd use a cell phone that had a camera in it but then we had a baby and Danica figured out that she could send photos directly to Flickr and directly to her parents and grandparents. She likes instant gratification that involves showing the world how cute our daughter is.
So now I'm thinking that it would be nice to get her something comparable in the realm of video. Her cell phone will take very short videos but they are pretty crappy. Thus far my research has come up with the Flip Video Camera: http://www.amazon.com/Flip-Video-Camcorder-60-Minutes-Black/dp/B000ONDRFS/ref=pd_ts_p_1?ie=UTF8&s=photo Seems ok and not a bad price, but I wanted to see if anyone had any good suggestions and experiences.
