How many stupid things can one person do?

Not to be outdone by former examples of stupidity:

Wales? What state is that in?

Waving to Stevie Wonder (no, you talk to Stevie Wonder and wave at Marlee Matlin)

The president continued on his quest for complete "Forrest Gumpiness" today...

(Paraphrased from the Washington Post)

President Bush, surrounded this morning by nursery schoolers merrily singing and
wriggling their fingers spiderily, joined in just
in time to make a two-handed spider, then practically led the way on "crawled up the
water spout." He executed an impressive "down
came the rain," and as if by instinct made the crossways "washed the spider out."
"Up came the sun," and up came the president's hands. But "dried up all the rain"
seemed to confound him, as if he had finally run
dry himself, and he casually folded his hands back in his lap.

Later, he appeared downtown at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts with
volunteers for AmeriCorps, the Senior Corps and the
Peace Corps, which he has proposed expanding and has placed under the umbrella of his
new USA Freedom Corps. He created in January
along with another subsidiary, a Citizen Corps for homeland defense projects.

That is a lot of corps, and even the president got a bit tangled in the terminology.

"You know, AmeriCorps has got 50,000 AmeriCorps-ians," Bush told one of the stars of
his show. "And we hope to have 75,000 - at
least the budget calls for an increase of 50 percent in AmeriCorps corps. Thank you
for your example."
