Mate, I got myself a pearl on contract about 8 weeks ago. I spent some time with it, trying to get my way around the OS, as a software developer all these kinds of things interest me, I also have a vested interest in the mobile phone business so always keep a keen and open eye on these markets.
However, I've now sent the blackberry back to base, I was massivly disapointed as to how poor it was, I had really high expectations for what was a seemingly very classy product, unfortunatly everything about it felt so amature hour, from hardware through to software, really quite poor. Unless you're likely to use the email push stuff and have no other choice, I would avoid this phone, get yourself a sony or nokia, you'll be far better off.
