The article was not written by a programmer, it was written by a suit runs a
training center that only provides training for the technologies he
mentioned...imagine that.

He is right that this is a pivotal year though. Everyone has a new product
this year. All day long at work I play with CF/Java stuff, then I go home
pop open the C# book open Visual Studio and hammer away at that, then I've
got this Flash MX itch I really want to scratch, but I don't have the time
(I really want to see if dynamically created MX widgets are all they are
cracked up to be...). Windows.Net Server and IE7 w/CLR are coming soon, and
the Netscape AOL switch (meaning XUL, and XPCOM books), and people are
already starting to talk about XML 2.0.
Information overload! I'm going to have to get a new bookshelf. Then back to
the real world where all the servers aren't even CF 5.0 yet...sigh.
