Yeah but they only vote if they think candidate X will bring God to the pulpit. Bush has kinda burned that bridge and a lot of evangelicals are disillusioned and staying home. It used to be that you needed the South to win and they typically vote Republican. Democrats from the south, however, like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were able to win. Now I think there have been enough changes in the demographics that a black man could at least split the vote in the south. Look at Ford's power in Tennessee. Further, the Southwest has grown some real power, and mostly minority. I think a candidate that can take the Blue states, take the cities, and take the southwest can win even without the south. But if you took even a little of the south, especially Florida, a black guy could easily win. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:248911 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
