You absotutely correct, and the BF and I really try celebrate every day
together we can. Doing small special things, being upbeat, thankful for what
we do have... little presents here and there. Always sit down to dinner,
make each other cocktails, etc.

But man oh man, is it hard to get others on that band wagon. A LOT of
people around us complain almost everyday about one thing or another.
Running around like chickens. I have almost mastered the art of closing my
ears to it all, because no matter how many times you try and spread the love
and tell them "hey, it all aint that bad" they just don't want to hear it,
or do hear it and ignore it. So to combat the depression spreading to my
pores, you learn to ignore it, which in itself, is not conducive to good
friendship, because you are supposed to be genuinely listening ... so how in
the world do you cope with it all! Every once in a while I forget to close
an ear, and bam! All that negativity seaps in and ruins my day until I
physically shake it all off and start over.

At least on the holidays, everyone is smiling and on vacation and happy and
jovial, so we enjoyed it tremendously.

Life is short right? Live it large ... no matter what you got! :D
