When WW2 was over we prosecuted German and Japanese Military for doing
this very thing to prisoners. It was called torture then and was
considered a war crime.

"We're" supposed to be better than this.

It's supposed to be "the other side" that does this, and when "they"
do, we're supposed to be outraged.

But when it is "us," when it is "we," it is supposed to be
"Patriotic(TM)" and "The American Way (R)" to say nothing, to look the
other way.

It's pretty simple. If "we" do it, "they'll" do it. And how the fuck
are we supposed to justify prosecuting the "They" without prosecuting
the "We"? Oh, wait, "we" win, "they" lose, so it doesn't really matter
what "we" did... That's fucking childish. Time and time again it has
been shown that the ends do not justify the means.

I probably make Baby Jesus(TM) cry, since I obviously "Hate America
(TM)", opposing torture in any form the way I do.
