By the way, when over the last couple of years did bacon become so popular it seems to have a cult following? And what about the people that can't eat pig? Aren't they missing out on something? I almost feel bad they can't join the cult too ...
Speaking of bacon though, we were at the grocery store just before Christmas getting a few odds and ends and bacon was one of the things we needed. So we look through the huge assortment available and one of the the thicker sliced brands we really like, was on sale! Usually sells for almost $8 a package for 1.5 lbs. They had them on sale for $2.99!!!
