Do they really think people are not going to make that extra trip to
Starbucks each day in order to have the "convenience" of being "served" by
untrained, low-paid, uncaring, openly hostile frowners with downcast eyes
and mumbling speech (if you can call it speech)?  Has anyone in McDonalds
management ever been to a Starbucks?  For that matter, have they ever been
to a McDonalds where they weren't recognized?

Coffee is basically coffee.  No real mystery there.  I go to Starbucks for
the service and the atmosphere, and because the workers are treated well by
a management with a vision.
