Easy stuff.  Low fat, low carb diet, mostly lean meat and vegetables.
Lots of fish, turkey, spinach and broccoli. Very few breads or sweets.
 No sodas or junk snacks.  My only vice is my daily coffee with cream
and sugar.

Lots of walking.  Before I sprained my ankle last May I was walking
25-30 miles a week in San Francisco, where no matter where you are,
everything is uphill.  I'm slowly building back up. Right now I'm at
about 5 miles a week and the ankle is holding out well.  Last month, I
did a  trip to Britain which included climbing Glastonbury Tor, so I'm
claiming my miracle, because when I started this weight loss program I
couldn't climb into bed.
