Shanahan has employed a zone blocking scheme in Denver for years now, and it's the system that has allowed them to pretty much plug in any running back they want, and have that guy go for 1500+
Tricky thing is, a system like that requires a different kind of lineman, one that can get out in space, is more agile than big.
