Wow, now this is sad. A politically active acquaintance explained to me that the reason many politically active blacks, especially the Congressional Black Caucus (which is a racist group as I understand it - no whites), won't back Obama because if he gets the Whitehouse their power is gone. Essentially a black man in the Whitehouse would mean that there's no more power behind a "we're oppressed" mesage, thus their power would evaporate, thus they oppose him.
