You could.  But no matter what OSes you're planning on Dual booting you
should consider placing each on their own partitions.  Just makes things
simpler.

I've never heard of this... didn't happen to me at least.  I used separate
partitions, maybe that has something to do with it?

Honestly I don't think it's really worth it.  I can't think of any reason to
keep both.  I dual-booted when I got it but pretty much abandoned XP within
days.  When I upgraded the hard disks I just didn't even consider it.

I loves my Vista.  ;^)
