Correct because the PTR is tied to the IP address not the domain name. They can set it to whatever you want. I host all my servers at The Planet and I just sent them a ticket and told them I need IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to resolve to www.whatever.com on the PTR and they hooked me up.
