That depends on budget and where exactly you want to go. A single day transit pass is your best bet for travel in Toronto. It is actually great for the downtown core (the event will be in the downtown core) because of the excellent subway/streetcar system. Cost - $8.00
On Sunday and holidays 2 adults and 4 kids can travel on a single pass. Other than that there are cabs easily available in the downtown area.
