I've read tons of studies that say that multi-vitamins are ineffective at anything they measure., but that having been said I take the Opti-men multi-vitamin occasionally anyway. However everyday I take SuperFood which is a freeze-dried mix of: Wild Blueberry (1.5% anthocyanin) Raspberry (20% allagic acid, 0.7% anthocyanins) Strawberry Acai Berry (1.5% total phenolic acids, 1% anthocyanins) Coffee Berry (50% total phenolic acids) Goji Berry Pomegranate (40% ellagic acid) Broccoli Sprout (5000 ppm sulforophane) Kale Spinach (700 ppm lutein) Wasabi (20% glucosinolates) Wild Yam (20% diosgenin) Green Tea (95% total polyphenols, 65% total catechins, 40% EGCG) Apple Orange (40% vitamin C) Mango Passion fruit Watermelon (1000 ppm lycopene) It's antioxidant potency is measured via the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale which is a standardized USDA test used to measure the Total Antioxidant Potency of foods and nutritional supplements. The USDA gives an "average serving of fruits AND vegetables" an ORAC rating of between 400 and 500. 1 teaspoon of SuperFood has an ORAC rating of 5,315 the equivalent to eating between 10 and 12 average servings of fruits and vegetables. Plus it's kinda tasty. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:253348 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
