midday? You sweet silly fool you. It took us over a month to produce a result in the general election. But yes, lat I heard, four of the more remote counties had not reported at all and a couple of large precincts in the metropolitan area were not done counting. For some reason there was only one voting location in Rio Rancho (a large suburb of Albuquerque) and people were apparently in lline for more than three hours after the door closed at 7. There were also reports of polling stations running out of ballots and they will probably need to make a determination on what to do about the makehift ballots. Count them or not?
Still, I am encouraged that there was way more turnout than expected, and in some fairly evil weather too.
