If things normalize between the USA and Canada, I think it would be clever to appoint Cuba Gooding Jr. as ambassador to Cuba. It would almost be like having home-field advantage.

And to play devil's advocate, there's many foreigners that have no wish to visit these American soils either. The United States is no saint over the ages. Hanging slaves, beating women, the KKK, gangsters, fraudulent businesses, discrimnation ... who knows how many of the decendants or secret practitioners or supporters of just these few "evil wrongs" we support over time.
