That seems like an odd reason to change resources...? You can't find anyone who does CF? That sucks. > Can anyone recommend a resource that lists C#.net equivalents to CF > commands? I'm sure there are some lists out there that will give comparable ASP functions for CF commands, but i'm not really sure how much good that does you. .NET is a completely different methodology for coding a web application. Postbacks and code behinds and pre load and etc. etc. Calls for a whole different approach. Does anyone but me think using .net for web development is a stupid, STUPID > idea? Not necessarily. Every single time we have converted a medium sized part of our app from CF to .NET, the .NET piece has executed faster. Every time. No matter how well we tune our CF page. I don't want to start another war about that.....i'm just stating the reality of our experience. No doubt that it is a far more complex undertaking.....and sometimes all that extra hard work is simply not justified. CF and .NET may be competing techs for web application development, but there is a time and a place for both of them, there are apps that are more suited for one and not the other. It's a shame that you have to base your choice of a platform on worker availability instead of on technical considerations for the app. -- My word's but a whisper Your deafness, a shout ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:255068 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
