Yes, it is.

If you were to want to do something like that, you'd probably need a
tool called "DVD Decrypter", you could probably get it here:
http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/

That would decrypt it and write out the VOB and IFO files and stuff.

The simplest next step is a program called AutoGK, which you can get
from here: http://www.autogk.me.uk/ - it's a package that'll do the
rest of the work converting your unencrypted DVD files to a format
that your ipod can handle.

Of course, that's all illegal. Well not all of it, just decrypting the
DVDs and making copies of copyrighted DVDs.
