Nowadays, I see that as an advantage.  With the eye candy available  
with all these javascript libraries and the familiarity of the DOM, I  
enjoy it a lot more.  I still find it a lot harder to style flex apps  
than html apps.  I also have never found a combo box I was happy with  
(One that will allow you to enter stuff not already in the select  
list) and the Rich Text Editor component is sadly lacking if you want  
to do any kind of html entry.  And did I mention printing?
