There's apparently ads that run during the shows, I would assume much like on Fox.com or NBC.com--as I haven't been able to test yet.
The Time.com article (http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1721021,00.html) said that the ads were much less annoying on hulu.com than on Fox.com (where the Simpsons episode she wanted to watch made her wait through a full minute of commercials as opposed to hulu.com which was 20 seconds of commercials in the first 8 minutes of programming). i really like watching shows online, i don't like commercial television at all, but am certainly able to admit that there are some good shows. Currently waiting for the return of 30 Rock and Heroes on NBC and am following Lost on ABC.com. CSI had my interest, but was a little rocky at the beginning of the current season and then CBS.com's player was effed up for...well, all of the writer's strike it seemed... not sure if I'll pick up CSI again.
