Nope. That's still an achilles heel of Vista. Everything is damned slow. I never get anywhere near my full MB/s on my SATA Raid 0 10000RPM Raptors.
It's insane really :-\ And SP1 made this a bit better, but not by much. Transferring files, or copying files from one spot to another on the same Harddisk on a MAC is a lot, lot faster.
