>But really, well-written, character-driven stories (as opposed to the purely >event-driven stories of most others)? Compelling interpersonal >relationships that grew over time (as opposed to the Rodenberry-forced >"everybody's happy at the end" storylines of the original)?
It's too bad it started its run during the height of TNG's popularity as I think that did make it a bit harder for it to really find an audience, as it was so different than what people were used to. But I think many of us have been able to catch up with it on DVD and in syndication and really appreciate how multi-faceted and well-written it was. Okay, sometimes it went off the deep end a bit (the episode near the end where O'Brien and Bashir get the cure for Odo from Sloan comes to mind) but overall it was quite an achievement that didn't get the credit it really deserved. >But, um... what'd you think of the design? ;^) For me, the 'Q' doesn't quite work, just not real recognizable. I only know it's a 'Q' from the rest of the text. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:257305 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
